- July 2020-2021: Worked as a faculty at the apex training centre of LIC of India, Management Development Centre at Mumbai. Conducted programs pertaining to Life Insurance, Insurance regulation and Finance
- December2018-June 2020: Worked at the corporate office of LIC of India in the International operations department. The role consisted of supporting and monitoring international operations spread over 14 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe. It also involved exploration of new opportunities.
- November 2015-December2018: Manager and compliance officer in a life insurance company in Singapore for three years. Looked after the entire Operations including board meetings and related activities, risk and underwriting and as a compliance officer handling the MAS regulatory compliance.
- May2014-November 2015: In the corporate HRD (Human Resources Development) department of LIC of India as a team leader that handled training operations for the tied Agency force and other field personnel.
- From May 2008 till May 2014: at NIA (National Insurance Academy), Pune, India as Research Associate
- From 1993 to 2008: Worked in LIC of India as a Manager/Officer at different levels and in different areas of operations
Key contributions:
- Lead a team that designed and set up PCMC (Premium Collection Management Center) which was a common platform for collecting premiums through multiple non-traditional modes such as Internet, ECS, bill payment, ATM and kiosks. Today it accounts for bulk of premium collection of LIC of India involving millions of transactions per annum.
- Member of a team at the corporate IT Department which pioneered and oversaw the creation of one of the largest networks in India, carried out a major business process reengineering of the largest life insurer in India.
- Number of publications in various journals and magazines like Bimaquest, IRDA Journal, The Actuary, Yogakshema, Pravartak, etc...
- Received CD Deshmukh prize for a paper submitted in CD Deshmukh seminar, 2013.
- Was selected as a member of an advisory mentor council by DGET, Government of India.
- Was a faculty for PGDM at NIA, visiting faculty in Life Insurance, Health Insurance to institutes in India and abroad.

- M.Sc. (Master of Science) with First Class
- Qualified in a national level eligibility test for lectureship (NET/SET) conducted by CSIR-UGC.
- PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University), New Delhi.
- Associate Member of Insurance Institute of India since November 2008.
- Student Member, Institute of Actuaries of India. Qualified in 4 papers.
