National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune Co-Organizes IEEE Pune Industry Conclave 2026

Pune, July 18, 2026: The National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune, in collaboration with the IEEE Pune Section, successfully co-organized the IEEE Pune Industry Conclave 2026 on 17–18 July 2026 at the NIA Convention Centre. The two-day conclave brought together 100+ students from over 10 institutions, 20+ eminent speakers, researchers, industry professionals, and IEEE volunteers, creating a vibrant platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and industry-academia collaboration.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri B. C. Patnaik (Director, NIA Pune), Mr. Amit Mishra (Chair Professor, NIA Pune), Mr. Tablesh Pandey (LIC Chair Professor, NIA Pune), Mr. Pramoda Misra (Chair Professor–Finance, NIA Pune), Dr. Komal Singh (Principal, NIA Pune), Dr. Tripura Pidikiti (AdCom Member, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society), Dr. Amar Buchade (Chair, IEEE Pune Section), Dr. Simran Khiani (Branch Counsellor, IEEE Student Branch, NIA Pune), Mr. Rakshit Jain (Chair, IEEE YP AG, IEEE Pune Section & Chair, IEEE Pune Industry Conclave 2026), and Dr. Dimple Pal (Vice Chair, IEEE WiE AG), along with distinguished academicians, researchers, and industry leaders.

The conclave featured keynote addresses and panel discussions on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Industrial Electronics, Innovation, Insurance Technology, and the Future of Work, with experts from Pratiti Technologies, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Inter Institutional Inclusive Innovations Centre (i4C), Rises Analytics Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Webber ElectroCorp, CentraLogic, Elliot Systems, Amdocs, NIQ, and SAS Automation Pvt. Ltd. sharing insights on emerging technologies and digital transformation. The event reaffirmed NIA Pune's commitment to fostering technological excellence, research, innovation, and strong industry-academia partnerships.
